Antigen services

Protein expression purification service

AbClon produce recombinant proteins and antibodies that are important to your research for
convenient use. Protein expression purification service can be performed in conjunction with
gene synthesis and cloning services using various vectors. On the small scale, the optimal
expression and purification conditions are confirmed, and mass production and purification
are carried out to produce efficient protein. Depending on the purpose of the study, it can be
carried out in bacteria and mammalian systems.

Conjugation Service

For small molecules, peptides, and chemicals are used as antigens, there are conjugated to carrier protein to increase immunogenicity.

Carrier protein type : KLH, BSA

Conjugation Linker

  • Sulfo-SMCC: Conjugation using the -SH group (thiol group)
    • - Peptides can be added artificially using cysteine
      • · CysXXXXXXXXXX or XXXXXXXXXXCys (O)
      • · XXXXXCysXXXXX (X)
    • - Coupled with the NH2 group of lysine in the carrier protein

Sulfo-SMCC conjugation
  • Glutaraldehyde: Conjugation using the -NH2 group (free amino group, N-terminal)
    • - Peptides should have no lysine
      • · XXXXXLysXXXXX (X)
    • - Coupled with the NH2 group of lysine in the carrier protein

Glutaraldehyde conjugation
  • The EDC: Conjugation using the -COOH group (carboxyl group, C-terminal)
    • - Peptides should have no aspartic acid and glutamic acid
      • · XXXXXAspXXXXX or XXXXXGluXXXXX (X)
    • - Coupled with the NH2 group of lysine in the carrier protein

EDC conjugation

Small molecules (including peptides) conjugated with a carrier protein are used for ELISA screening in order to confirm antibody production by conjugating carrier protein and other carrier proteins.

  • Ex) Immunization → KLH conjugated peptide
ELISA screening → BSA conjugated peptide
