Monoclonal Antibody

Monoclonal antibody is an antibody derived from one B cell. Since it recognizes only one epitope,
it is widely used not only for research but also for diagnosis and treatment. Peptides or purified
proteins are mainly used as antigens. Antibodies can also be produced by various substances such
as chemical or cell. Compared with Polyclonal Antibody, the antibody development period is long
and the process is complicated. However, the developed antibody has the advantage of
continuous production with the same quality. The Monoclonal Antibody Next Innovation (MANI)
protocol, developed independently by AbClon, is a dramatic increase in the number of positive
clones that respond to antigens compared to SOP.
We also offer in vivo ascites / purification or in vitro culture / purification services for the mass
production of monoclonal antibodies with activity identified. In order to increase the success rate
of antibody production, the form of antigen should be close to that of native protein, and its size
should be more than 20 kDa. Therefore, the success rate of antibody production is higher in order of native protein> recombinant protein> peptide. If the size of the protein is small, you can increase the size by attaching the tag and immunize and select the antigen-specific antibody by negative selection for the tag protein.

Antibody library

The Rz library is a human synthetic library developed by AbClon and has two types, Fab and scFv. Antibodies in the form of Fabs or scFvs that bind to a wide variety of antigens can be provided and can be screened for antibodies within a short time (6 weeks). Trinucleotide mutagenesis library has been used to prevent the generation of stop codon to maximize the success rate of antibody development. Developing Antibodies Using Hybridoma Antibodies can be developed in a short period of time with fewer antigens.
